Benefits:
Abalone not only tastes great, but also an excellent source of many vital nutrients. In Asian cultures, abalone has long been appreciated for its health benefits, including healthy eyes and skin. Farmed abalone is low in fat and a good source of omega 3, iodine and phosphorous (phosphate).
Preparation:

Wash and then soak the abalones in clean water for overnight.

In the day, change the water and boil the abalone for 5 minutes. Turn off the gas and cover the pot. Let it soak for overnight (do not have a need to change the water).

Clean the abalone the next morning, brush mildly to clean the abalone.

Change the water and boil for 5 minutes again. Turn off the gas and cover the pot. Let it soak for overnight (do not have a need to change the water)
(Repeat step 4 if the abalone is not soft enough)

Soak abalone in chiller, it will be ready the next day.

Soaked abalone need to be kept in fridge for storage, preferably in the freezer compartment.
Notes
Just like sea cucumber, do not have any contact with oil, rice or water. This will damage the abalone during the soaking process.
